The Challenge

Install sheet pile under a bridge in 9' sections that would be 131' deep.

For Contractors

O-Pile® cofferdams were installed around the piers. Due to limited overhead clearance, 9' sections were spliced together to reach final lengths of 131'' .

For Engineers

Engineers designed a watertight system anchored in bedrock to enable deep underwater rehabilitation of the bridge substructure and ensure long-term performance.

For Owners

The patented O-Pile® system, 100% melted and manufactured in the USA, provided a durable solution that secured the integrity of the bridge footings for decades to come.
