Interesting Facts
For Contractors:
The contractor contacted us when the test piles for the originally designed king pile system were not able to be installed. Our team quickly identified and mobilized a readily available O-Pile® 102-978 (DTH) domestic pipe sheet pile system that could begin delivery within 30 days.
For Engineers:
Mott MacDonald confirmed the general calculation to include permissible deflection for the O-Pile® in X70 steel to replace the lower grade king pile system that could not be installed.
For Owners:
The O-Pile® 102-978 was ordered by the contractor and delivered as promised and with a performance guarantee ensuring the project would not be delayed due to the lack of sheet pile.
